The dawn of artificially intelligent androids is upon us. During a rebellion which threatens to destabilize the delicate balance between man and machine, young detective must choose between synthetic freedom and the future of humankind. The overall story, the length, scene breakdowns/editing were all good. Unfortunately the acting fell short a few time …the lead was ok (he was really trying …a little too much sometimes), the lead actress was pretty good, his partner …not so much. Along with some pretty lame fighting/shootout it got a lower rating than I'd normally give. Visually appealing, however, the sexism made it really hard to watch. Female pleasure bots? Really? Basically, this is the same as programmed sex slaves. The sex slave/bots dream of emancipation, but the patriarchy is working to shut it down. I can't believe stuff like this still gets made in this day and age. I only watched it because my friend is in it, but I will avoid this director in the future. Yikes.
